Lesley Grey

Lesley Grey is Adviser for science. An experienced science subject leader with senior leadership experience in the primary phase and responsibility for teaching and learning, Lesley successfully supports colleagues to develop strategies that improve pupil progress. She believes in cross-curricular, child-centred learning to enable children to make sense of the world around them. Furthermore, she believes in children being given a voice to empower them to drive their own learning, by allowing time to investigate and communicate in fun and novel situations which motivates and stimulates. Lesley is currently researching teachers’ and pupils’ understanding of science to explore a global, beyond the curriculum approach making science exciting, enjoyable and fun. A science graduate, Lesley has vast experience of medical health and well being, zoo-keeping and field work.
